The Bugatti Sentodeci has finally entered production after undergoing rigorous testing and covering an estimated distance of 31,000 miles (50,000 km). Production of the Bugatti Sentodeci will begin after the vehicle's prototype has passed all tests, including the freeze test, to ensure its ability to handle various conditions and major trips without any hindrances.
Over the course of several months, the Sentodeci model has endured challenges in various possible driving conditions, including high-speed sprints, road test handling, circuits, motorways, and city traffic.
A daily distance of 1,200 kilometers has been set, between driving and stopping for technical checks, changing drivers and refueling.
Every aspect of the Sentodeci is evaluated by test drivers, the experts who have mastered everything about the car and its functionality and are able to perceive the tiniest variation or malfunction in steering, braking, acceleration or suspension.
The final test was the Nardo Circuit in Italy, the car's final test, over a 12.6-kilometre track, the perfect place to reach a top speed of 380 km/h powered by a 1,578 hp four-turbo W16 engine.
Ten Sentodeci models will be manufactured, at an estimated cost of €8 million (about $8.9 million) each.
The Bugatti cars are also scheduled to be built in Alsace, France, with all 10 deliveries to be completed by the end of 2022.
